I just joined as a newbie wanna be cq'r. Love the site and all the helpful things. The thing that impressed me most is the starter blocks. It showed me that its not "beautiful " till ya get the emblishments on it. So its ok to be bland at first. It always overwhelmed me to see the finished blocks and not the before emblishments blocks. Now I get it. Thanks, Eileene

A newbie for sure but I haven't yet decided if I am a crazy quilter or a collector of embellishments. I am however, having a great time finding great resources such as this, and am having tons of fun buying lace, ribbon, beads and any other trinket I think will fit in a block. The tutorials here are excellent and the photos, very inspirational. I am just learning my way around the site and hope to jump into a round robin exchange someday. Thanks for letting me join!

Tammy, Welcome back, glad your login worked, great to have you here.

Jackie, Welcome to the cqwiki. There is great info here, contributed by some VERY VERY talented ladies. You must be a crazy quilter if you are "collecting" cq embellishments. If you are looking for a fun "jump right in" project check out the CQ heart template. CQ hearts are fun and quick.

Happy Stitching

Thanks Jody,

I'll check it out. Did you make the one here? The Hokey Pokey script is so cute. I love quotes in crazy quilting.
